Blue Pencil Publishing, as it was known prior to the rebranding, was set up by the late Sujoy Gupta, a renowned corporate biographer, in 2002. It began as a dream rooted in family tradition and academic excellence. Founded as a family-run academic publishing venture, Blue Pencil evolved into something far more expansive and exciting. What started in our living room with a shared passion for quality literature has blossomed into a dynamic publishing house dedicated to bringing exceptional stories to young readers across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
